2012

Vaughan, Ontario

Client : UJA Federation of Greater Toronto

The result of extensive municipal, community and stakeholder involvement, as prime consultant, ARK lead a complex consultant team through the Master Plan, Urban Design, Site Plan Approval, and Architectural Design process over a 5 year period. Based upon an integrated model, this community-based and community-funded 50 acre campus brought together a complex array of Partner Institutions including several elementary schools, a secondary school, a community centre, non-profit housing, Mount Sinai Hospital, a sports and recreation centre and long term care. The resulting award winning design is an expression of individual identity and community spirit, pedestrian accessibility and vehicular efficiency.
