Celebrating each child's individuality and uniqueness, the Parkview Childcare Centre is designed to evoke memory and a sense of being. The colours, textures and materiality enhance the role of the physical environment in every-day activities, encouraging children to be creative and inventive. Integrated with a Long Term Care Facility, the design creates a synergy between the elderly and the young with shared courtyards and amenity spaces. The Day Care Centre is located on the ground floor in order to encourage a strong relationship with the community.
